MY FAVOURITE FILM.

A STAR IS BORN.

The pitch:
-Ally, a waitress and a songwriter, and the famous singer Jack, who is addicted to drugs and alcohol.
-A love story that will have to deal with the fame or the alcoholism.
-A tragical ending where we will see a suicide and loneliness of an alcoholic

The story pattern:
1.YOU: A talented songwriter and a famous singer that fall in love with each other. 
2.NEED: Ally dreams with singing on a stage and Jack needs someone who will head him for the good way in life.
3.GO: After her performance with Jack on one of his concerts, Ally becomes famous and they start a life together.
4.SEARCH: Ally starts working with a producer who will try to change not only her image, but also her music.
5.FIND: Jack's addiction keeps increasing and he passes out and make a fool of himself in the Grammy Awards, where Ally wins an award.
6.TAKE: Jack's kills himself and Ally ends depressed
7.RETURN: Jack's brother makes Ally understand that her husband's death wasn't her fault.
8.CHANGE: Ally acts like how she really is and becomes a real star.

                                                             A Short presentation:
This musical romantic drama is a 2018 film, directed by  Bradley Cooper and written by Eric Roth. It is a remake of the original 1937 film and the main characters are the famous singers Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.
 The story is about a songwriter who had always dreamed of becoming a famous singer but despite her incredible voice, she had never been interested by any producer due to her appearance. Jack was a famous rockstar that was addicted to drugs and alcohol and one night he was astonished with Ally's voice when he heared her singing. After that night, Jack invited Ally to one of his concerts where she became famous and she signed a contrat with a producer. The couple quickly fall in love and got married but things started to go bad when the produced tried to change not only Ally's appearance, but also her music and Jack's health got worse owing to his addiction. After her success, Ally won a Grammy Award and Jack passed out on the ceremony. Jack joined a rehabilitation program and started to feel better but one night he killed himself. In the end, Ally gave a concert in honor of his husband and became a real star. 
 What I liked the most about this film is the soundtrack. Each song is perfect for each scene and they help us understand the character's feelings even more. So the technical issue that I would point out is the emotive and outstanding music.
 To sum up, I would really recommend this film to anyone because it treats different topics. Watch it, you won't regret doing it!
