The first evaluation of the Audio Visual Culture subject has been quite interesting for me. Some of the activities we did were appealing for me, the video for the European Day of Languages was really enjoying for example, but there were other activities that I found boring, such as the Donostia Innovating challenge, because it hasn't got a lot in common with Audio Visuals.  On the other hand, the work that I did this term, I think that was quite good, although I must say that I could have done more work when we went to the computers room (but I must say that there aren't enough computers for us and that's why I can't do the work in class). But appart from this I have had a good attitude and I have tried to do the works the best possible.

Last week we went to the Trueba cinema and assisted to the "Begiradak" festival. There we wached short films created by teenagers and after watching them, we had the chance to talk to Jon Garaño, a famous film director, and we asked him different questions.  The short film that I liked the most was the one of the war. This short film showed  us the real history of a boy who experienced the inhumane and immoral war. In the  film we could hear the voice of the protagonist who was narrating this experience of his life, while some great illustrations were being shown. What I liked the most of  this moving short film was that we could feel the pain of the boy when he narrated  how one day his village was bombed and how he took in his own hands his little brother who was really injured. SINGING IN THE RAIN ( 1952).   ·The Pitch: - A famous actor fells in love with a choruls girl. - It shows the transition from silent films to "talkies", which causes many difficulties. -The chour girl will finally saves the show dubbing the main character's voice. · The story pattern: 1.YOU: The main actors of a film are supposed to be in love, but they actually hate each other. 2.NEED: Don, the famous actor, fells in love with a chorus girl. 3.GO: For the first time, talking pictures are produced and the famous couple must act and speak, which causes many difficulties, because Lina, the main actress, has an awful voice. 4.SEARCH: Although a coach tries to teach Lina how to speak properly, the film is a disaster and all the public makes fun of them. 5.FIND: Don comes up with the idea of turning the film into a musical and dubbing Lina's voice with the incredible chorus girl's voice. 6.TAKE: Lina finds out about the dubbing, and threats the film   dir
